Whitehill Bordon Eco-town

Wendy Shillam is working on the Whitehill Bordon Eco-town - a Green Town in Mid Hampshire proposed to grow to 27,000 population with up to 5,500 new homes and 7,000 jobs. It is one of four towns in England that has received Eco-town funding from the government.

Wendy’s background is as a consultant working first for MacCormac, Jamieson and Pritchard and then setting up her own firm, Shillam + Smith Architecture and Urbanism. Wendy has been involved in major regeneration and development projects including Canning Town, Swindon and Islington King Square (an international competition winning design).  She has become an expert in sustainable development.
