Nigel Green is currently giving planning and urban design advice to Fareham Borough Council in respect of the Strategic Development Area north of Fareham. Nigel has organised a number of training events and site visits for elected members and key stakeholders to allow them to gain a greater understanding of the concept of placemaking and what makes a ‘successful place’.

For the past 7 years Nigel has acted as consultant to Winchester City Council in respect of their major developments; this includes the Major Development Area at West of Waterlooville, which has recently been granted outline planning consent, and detailed approval for the design codes.

Nigel has acted as an expert witness and prepared urban design evidence on behalf of New Forest District Council for public inquiries. He also recently prepared a brief for and managed the commission for a study into the Deliverability of the South Hampshire Strategic Development Areas on behalf of the Partnership for Urban South Hampshire (PUSH).
