Description: Open competition calling for innovative designs for new housing to be located along the River Medway, on St. Mary’s Island
Why we carried out the project: To seek ideas that would develop the concept of a new sustainable waterfront community for the 21st century that would respond to the local context. The competition winner was Buschow Henley Architects (now Henley Halebrown Rorrison.
