Brownfield Land Assembly Company

Kent Architecture Centre worked with the Brownfield Land Assembly Company (BLAC) and SEEDA to help produce strategies for developing neglected and troublesome brownfield sites for small developers and housing associations.

In each case the aspiration was to enhance the wider area of the site where design and social issues were of critical importance. The process included site appraisal, investigation of development options and briefing of architects.

KAC developed a Small Sites Design Guide to help developers of small complex sites understand and overcome the challenges they pose.
