IRENE SEIJO BA MA

Irene is responsible for managing the communities, people and place programme, which aims to facilitate the participation of communities in the past, present and future of their neighbourhoods, and to increase public engagement in design and the planning process.

Irene has an MA in Public Art and Design, a BA in Landscape Architecture and has been working for over 30 years in the environmental sector.

She previously worked for Ashford’s Future as Green & Blue Grid Manager, developing Ashford’s parks, green spaces and waterways as part of the
development and housing growth plans for Ashford. Before this, Irene worked for eight years as an operations director for the regeneration charity Groundwork, and was responsible for environmental and community projects in Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark, Greenwich and Bexley.
