KENT DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT AWARDS 2012

Don’t miss your chance to achieve the recognition you deserve! The Kent Design and Development Awards 2012 which showcase design excellence across Kent. Jointly organised and sponsored by DHA Planning, Kent County Council and Ward Homes.

With a renewed focus on economic growth, it is even more important to ensure that we maximise the contribution of design quality to attracting new investment, new jobs and new opportunities to Kent.

There are five categories to enter, each demonstrating how the development industry professionals use their skills to develop and regenerate the environment. The categories include:-

Residential – Minor and Major, Sponsored by RPC Land and New Homes
Commercial, Industrial and Retail, Sponsored by Thomson Snell and Passmore
Public Buildings – Education & Community, Sponsored by Kent Construction Focus Group
Civils and Infrastructure, Sponsored by CTP and
Environmental Performance, Sponsored by Morgan Sindall.

Receipt of a ‘bespoke’ award

Category winners are awarded with an impressive trophy designed by Kent-based artist Dan Stafford commissioned by Sponsors FrancisKnight. Incorporating Kentish Ragstone kindly donated by Gallagher Group from their quarry in Aylesford Kent. The Awards can be displayed within the workplace creating pride in your staff and favourable impressions on visiting customers both existing and new.

The ‘Project of the Year’ Sponsored by DHA Planning will be chosen from the 5 category winners, and presented with this prestigious award. The overall winner will be the scheme/building demonstrating the greatest level of design quality in Kent.

All shortlisted entries will be invited to the Awards ceremony held on the 1 November and winners will be announced.
